Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and that there is transparency with regard to the processing of your information. To fulfill your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you authorize as being provided to us by placing your order), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom orders, for example), if you contact us directly. Also, Your personal details which will probably include your name and your contact details submitted via email or ‘join our mailing list’ buttons on the website or on our website contact form. Any information you provide regarding an order such as your name, address, telephone number, email, credit card information as well as any shipping information is shared with our payment processor, Stripe.

Why We Need Your Information and How We Use It

Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

    Squarespace, Google, Mail Chimp, Stripe. we share information with these parties as necessary to provide you with our services and comply with our obligations under both the Customer Service Policy and Terms of Use for each of these services.

    Service providers. we engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our business, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

    Business transfers. If we sell or merge our business, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

    Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.


Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC will collect and look after your data for the purpose of delivering services and information to you that you have requested and to correspond with you about our products and services. We will never pass your information to any party outside of Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC unless required by law to do so. We will never, ever, give, sell or lease your personal information to anyone outside of Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC.

If you have signed up for the newsletter or elected to keep in touch with us electronically via emails for Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC promotions and offers, we have partnered with Mail Chimp and retain a Data Processing Agreement with them. You can opt out of this communication permanently at any time.

Your information may be kept, such as your name and email address for our newsletters and promotions, until you opt-out of the service. You may opt-out at any this by clicking the link contained in any email or notice or by contacting us directly and requesting the same.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, our partners, (Squarespace, Stripe, Mail Chimp) have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC utilizes the Squarespace platform for hosting this website and its development, Google Analytics to help us provide you with information that you find interesting, and Mail Chimp to develop our opt-in enrollment forms and send our newsletters and promotional offers. These services may track how you’ve used the site, what content you find of interest, if you’ve opened an email, and help us deliver content you find interesting. Each site has their own privacy and cookie policy as well as Data Processing policy. Please refer to each sites' Privacy policy and Terms of Use.


 Our credit card payment processing is through Stripe which will receive your name, address, credit card information so as to process payment.  The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of Stripe, in addition to this policy. You agree to pay us, through the Stripe, all charges at the prices in effect for any purchase in accordance with the applicable payment terms. You agree to make payment using the payment method you provide with your account. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct Stripe to correct, any errors or mistakes, even if payment has already been requested or received. Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC does not collect or store your payment information.


When placing an order, you are agreeing that you have read the Shop’s policies and FAQs and agree to our terms of offering refunds or taking cancellations.


All charges will be inclusive of applicable national, provincial, state, local or other taxes (“Taxes”), unless explicitly stated otherwise. You're responsible for all applicable taxes, and we'll charge taxes in addition to the fees for the products and services we offer when required to do so. If you're exempt from taxes, you must provide us with valid tax exemption documentation. We reserve the right to determine if the documentation provided is valid. Tax exemption will, provided we’re satisfied its valid and applicable, only apply from and after the date we receive such documentation.


We do not use cookies through Marin Integrative Therapy, LLC directly. However, our Third Party services may use cookies to help you sign into their services from our services. Any such third party cookie usage is governed by the policy of the third party placing the cookie. Opting Out:  You can set your browser to not accept cookies, but this may limit your ability to use the services.  You may find out about these services and their policies by visiting each party named above on their particular site. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you. A small fee may be payable. If you would like a copy of the information we keep on our systems about you please write to our office. If you believe that any information we are holding is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in this Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for the following time period:  7 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, We may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, We rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

In such cases, We will delete your personal information unless We have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

    Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
